Win 7 Games Not Launching

Hi all

This maybe a stupid question, I have the latest win 7 installed and I cannot launch the games (Solitaire/Spider, etc) . It just hangs there. I am I missing something ?

btw I have Win 7 7600 16386 Home Premium x86 Installed.

Maybe because this is not the last Version and it is a fake?

You can try to reinstall them... maybe this helps even in your version

16386???? really the last version is 16385 obviously a fake man u better do a clean install and get the real rtm version

What GPU/IGP have you got?

Also, see if any DXDIAG tests fail (Go run, dxdiag, click "Display", and see if there are any problems.)

If all this is fine, I can only suggest you repair your windows installation.

Lol got a nvidia 6200 on my win 7 pc. uninstalled and reinstalled the games in safe mode and it still doesnt wanna work dxdiag shows all ok

i doubt it's your gpu - these are not 3d games after all.

are you only having trouble with the card games? can u play chess or mahjong?

do you have a CardGames.dll in your windows\system32 folder? you should have!

Na its all the games, busy getting the new win 7 that was release earlier. Hopefully it sorts it out.
