Hi!
I downloaded a skin just for try but it wasn't that good so tried to get rid of it. I restored the system to an earlier restore point and the theme was deleted but the new icons remained; I deleted the iconcache.db and after rebooting the icons still stayed the same. Then I expanded the max cached icons tp 1024 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Mircrosoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer (in fact i had to create a new string with Max Cached Icons) but still nothing happens to the icons.
I could manually change them to default icons by right clicking on them, properties (selecting default values here does work.. ) but i don't want to do this to all icons on my pc
can anybody help me, i want to get rid of this icons
