Win 7 install problems.

Does SSD register in BIOS now?

Does it still hang on the Starting Windows screen? Is this the old OS or the new install attempt?

Try booting the DVD Repair console or Repair CD to run Startup Repair a few times. Post back results.

Go back over all of the troubleshooting steps given so far to make sure each has been done, or ask back questions needed to get them done. Then we will have more steps.

Do you have another computer to install Win7 to the desired SSD/HD if necessary then SysPrep it to move back to problem hardware?

Hi Thorekong,

try to get into the Windows Recovery Environment and do a Startup repair.

Does this happen when you boot the Installation DVD?

Where did you get Win7? Did you burn it yourself. If so did you check ISO integrity and burn another using ImgBurn at 4x speed?

This is the real verson I have never used a burned version of windows :P

Are you using a VGA monitor outputted by the computer's VGA port? Sometimes this error occurs if you have a TV card installed or it's outputted to a projector. When the driver fails to load for those then the screen goes blank with blinking cursor.

Try a VGA monitor with normal VGA cable from the VGA port.

Now I have bought a new keyboard, and tryed both my screens to se if there where any problems there but nothing new happened. and the screens are both VGA monitors with VGA cables...

Go back through the thread to make sure you have completed every troubleshooting step suggested, or ask back how to get it done.

If so do you have another computer to install Win7 to the target HD plugged in by itself? Then SysPrep the HD before moving it back to problem computer: SysPrep to move HD to another computer

What hardware do you have installed, when installing Windows 7?

Have you tried installing with all but 2gb of RAM removed?

How about running memtest86 for 5-6 passes minimum or overnight?

Is that Corsair RAM perfectly specced to the mobo?

Can you use onboard video to try install, or swap out video cards just to try install?
