Hi Guys

I have a problem that is driving me nuts. I upgraded to Win 7 a few weeks ago and since then my wireless connection hasn't worked properly. I have an Alienware M17x (I have installed all the new drivers for Win 7) including updaded chipsets etc. My Wireless network adapter is a Broadcom 802.11n using BCMWL664.sys and vwifibus.sys drivers, connecting to a Belkin F5D7230. The only way I can get it to work is by uninstalling the network adapter, re-booting the computer, letting the computer re-install the drivers, then manually re-entering the PSK security key for access thru the router then I can get onto the internet  I tried the tech guys at Alienware who said it was a "software" problem and I would have to pay for assistance (i've only had the computer a few weeks) Anyway, there were no help at all. Honest guys this is driving me nuts please help

Hi and Welcome

Are you by chance using homegroup for networking?

Next time that happens and before you reboot can you type cmd in search. then ipconfig /flushdns, then ipconfig /renew. See if that cures the problem. If yes its a simple dns problem. If no

type ipconfig /all and using the built in snipping tool (type snipping tool in search) make a screen shot of the output. Use the attachment icon (shaped like a paperclip) to attach the screenshot for upload.

Let us know the results
