I have a netbook computer I use sporadically and I wanted to update it but when I go to Windows Update I get a message that says it can't update because "the service is not running." It says I might need to restart the computer. Well, I've done that. My internet connection is fine. I actually think I've had this for quite a while because I can't even remember the last time I got a message for it to update. I've done everything I know to do. Any suggestions?
