I have windows 7 pro 64 running on my PC and it will run 32 bit apps as well.
Does anyone know if Windows 7 Home Premium 64 will do the same thing?
The reason being is I have a unused copy of XP Pro 64 Student Media/Work at Home Media disk and want to install Win. 7 Home Premium Upgrade 64 into the new system I just built for my Nephew so he can take full advantage of this killer system.

Correct 64-bit Windows will run 32-bit programs/apps; also have a look at this tutorial at the link below and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.


Do a Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version

Irrespective of the edition, the x64 architecture will operate the same. There are only very few compatibility issues with 32 Bit applications.
