Win 7 Pro - How to Tell How Often System is Booted?

I searched but I'm not sure what good search terms would be, so here I am.

Does Windows 7 log, somewhere, every time a system is booted and powered down, as well as uptime?

Basically I'd like to look at a log file once a month and see how often my computer powered on, as well as power on time.

A simple "powered on 15 times, total uptime 12.5 hours" would suffice.

A breakdown by day would be better:
01/01/1980 power on 0700, power off 0800, total time 1:00 hours
01/02/1980 power on 0700, power off 0800, power on 1100, power off 1200, total time 2:00 hours

Is there such a thing?

Thanks!

look at your event log under system. look for power category. uptime counts when it was awoke from sleep so it won't be as accurate for a day per say.
