Hello,

We have three PC's on our Network but only two of the three are visible, let me explain:

From one machine click start - network - see machine I am on and one other.
This was not the case as of last week.

There is a workaround - click start - network - recent places - now files on the "missing machine" appear.

This works, but wondering why one machine seemingly disappeared from network.

Thank you for your help.

Hi Samuria - Yes I can ping the PC by IP and can see files on it by accessing "Recent Places".

Hi Snick - the only change I am aware of was a Windows Update that hanged and hanged forever - I wound up changing Windows Update settings to Never check for updates (not recommended) so that we could continue using the PC's. Yes, it is the same from the two computers that are trying to access the third computer - do not understand why this is a problem starting this week (Monday). All running Win 7 Pro. Problem still exists as I type this note Tuesday morning 7:36AM.

Thanks for your interest and help!

Hi Samuria - I ran on both PC's, there is no master browser. Is this the reason we are having issues? Thanks!
