Win 7 profile size issues

We are currently testing Win 7 in a pilot group of users. We (for some reason) do not use network based profiles (which has caused several issues thus far in the project) and as I was doing a little bit of research on the Win 7 machine I have noticed that the users profiles are HUGE. They range from 30 to 70 gigs. I dont understand what is going on. I went home and looked at my profile on my Win 7 machine and it is over 80 gig. This seems to be odd to me that a user profile that is maybe 300 mg on XP is 70 gig on Win 7. Any ideas?

Do you mean the users only have local profiles, rather than using a domain?

Either way, you can use something like WinDirStat (freeware) to see what exactly is using up that space.

Yes they only have local profiles. I will try the app and see what it tells me. thanks
I guess I have over looked the my real question, why do windows 7 profiles grow so big? are things installed to the users profile instead of program files? I guess that i just dont understand what is going on to cause the issue to begin with.
