Hello,
I have win 7 Ultimate, and every time I reboot win, lot of devices became unusable with "This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)". I have to do troubleshoot of my notebook (in "Devices and Printers") and then almost all device with error 24 is uninstalled/installed and after that it is working fine. There are some devices
(e.g. Hamachi Network Interface, VMware Virtual Eth Adapter) which are not healed with notebook troubleshoot. Those devices can't be found in "Network Connections", but they are working fine.
Does anybody have a clue? (this is really irritating to reinstall all devices after every reboot)

If you uninstall Hamachi and VMware, do you continue to have USB problems?

After reboot here is my devices situation:

(Bluetooth RFCOMM also had problem, it did not fit on picture)

Next, I uninstalled all devices with problem (uninstallation with driver removal)
After reboot, lot of new hardware was found and installed - here is what I got:

Then I restart win (it was not requested, I did it "on my own")
After reboot situation was as it was before :(

What is interesting: when notebook boots, usb mouse led is lighting. Win 7 starts
to load and usb mouse led still lights. In one moment, it simply turns off (IMHO this
is moment when devices are lost)

I have ultimate 64 bit. I did clean install. It was working right, and after one reboot it started to mess with drivers.

Is it possible to do installation over existing installation (it is OEM installation) - maybe it can repair this device issue? (specially because it key is embedded inside - I read somewhere that OEM installation can't be reinstalled)

Have you reviewed the document that I linked? Toshiba was nice enough to provide detailed instructions on how to install Windows 7 and what drivers are needed after the installation is complete.

OEM installs can be done over and over again on the same machine.
