Solved Win 7 sp1 !!!

Hi,
last week i had freshly installed win 7 & installing sp1 took nearly 1hr ... bt after it, couldnt login & went in loop restart ... so did fresh install again this week ... for installing sp1 on fresh win 7, how much time does it take ??? & which files to download before installing sp1 ???

It is better using media that already includes SP1.

Which edition do you need? Is it 7x64 ultimate en-US ?

SIW2, en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677332.iso = X17-59465.iso, once morphed made a DVD or flash drive, allows the user to pick which specific Windows is needed, correct? I downloaded a bunch of your stuff over the years onto my hard-drive directory "w7-stuff".

To make all editions available, delete the ei.cfg file from the sources folder.

SIW2 .. yes its "7x64 ultimate en-US" ...

ran chkdsk, it seems win files are corrupt & even my partition e: ... it keeps on giving blue screen ... cannot install any new software ... got these errors on resp days >> ("system vol on disk is corrupt") ... ("recycle bin is corrupted") ... ("fonts are corrupted") ...

should i re-install again with new installer file & where can i find it ???

yesterday did "sfc /scannow" ... & today my folder with all data (songs,vid ...) disappered ... is my windows or anything else corrupt ??? plz help ...

some ppl suggest to install (KB2454826, KB2534366, or KB2533552) updates before sp1 install, is it true ??? ... bt cannot find "KB2534366", any1 has the link can u plz share ???

Here is the download link for the ISO file for Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit in the English language.

After you create bootable install media and install it, use Simplex Update Pack 20.12.10

It will take about an hour to run and will restart your computer several times.
Once it's finished, Windows 7 will be up to date to December 2020.

After that's done, install the necessary device drivers.

Do NOT install a bunch of apps and games until you complete all of the above.
