Hi all, my wife in her infinite wisdom, decided to delete some registry files on her computer. Now it won't boot to Windows and Windows Repair isn't able to correct the issue. The log of the problem in Startup Repair is below.
Problem event name: StartupRepairOffline
Problem signature 1: 6.1.7600.16358
Problem signature 2: 6.1.7600.16358
Problem signature 3: unknown
Problem signature 4: 21200603
Problem signature 5: AutoFailover
Problem signature 6: 14
Problem signature 7: BadPatch
OS version: 6.2.7600.1.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033
System Restore says it isn't enabled for the drive (though I darn well know it is). I tried a forum post regarding going into the cmd prompt and finding the logs manually, but it says the file isn't there. http://www.sevenforums.com/backup-restore/12152-system-restore-failed-2.html
I tried using F8 and the last known good configuration and I get a BSOD with the process terminating unexpectedly, STOP c000021a, status of 0x00000000 (0xc0000001 0x00010508).
Anyone able to shed some light on where I go from here?
