Hey guys, since my school let us download any version of Win7 for free I thought I would try and install Win7 RC Ultimate (x64) onto my desktop. The problem is that when it goes to completing install it stops and wont progress. At first I thought it was just taking a long time but I let it run over night (6+hours) and still no luck.

What do I do :( I dont want to go back to my vista install :(

Welcome to SevenForums,

I see by your specs you have 4gb ram. This has been a minor problem on some new installs of Win7 :p Try it with 2gb for install, then you can put the other 2gb back in later. What speed did you burn the .iso ? 4x seems to work the best ! :geek:
