Win Easy Transfer Not Copying Admin settings from old computer

I've kept my XP SP3 machine around until now. I've got a new Win7 Home Premium 64 machine and started transferring files last night. I was the Admin on the old machine and my wife had her own user account. Easy Transfer only copied her settings and Shared settings. I think I tried telling Easy Transfer to copy the Admin settings but with no success. What other tricks should I try? I'm attempting to use a flash drive, if that tidbit is pertinent.

I would not import AppData settings as it is a corruption path into a fresh install. In addition, Easy Transfer can fail with data loss.

Instead I would use the backup and preparation methods just the same as for Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7, which also includes the steps, tools and methods which will assure you get and keep a perfect install based on tens of thousands we've helped with here.
