Win Live mail freezing

Hi
When I click on the X to close Windows Live Mail, quite often the program freezes and I have to Ctl+ Del to close the program, I was wondering if anybody could explain why, regards Robert.

Could you try control panel programs. And select repair? I have not had that happen to me but that's what I would try.

Sorry for the late reply, as I was waiting for an email notification which never came.
As you suggested I opened Programs and Features, but Windows Live Mail was not listed, anyway after a while I clicked Windows Essentials I think that I have seen it in with them and ran a "repair all essentials" which it said it did, so I will give it a few hours of use and get back to you with an update, regards Robert.
