win media ctr. 64 bit

i recently got a new gateway 64 bit computer to use as a media ctr.,needless to say,i have not got media ctr. to work since the purchase,it opens and i try to set up live tv and nothing,tried numerous fixes over the months and nothing fixes it,now ie has stopped working,anyone else had this problem,would like to avoid reinstalling the whole thing if possible,can t use system restore since wmc did not work from the beginning,gateway was useless as usual.thanks to all who reply

What do you mean WMC doesn't work. DOes it not launch at all?

it launches and opens,when your setting up win media ctr. live tv,it does nothing,but tries to load, but never does anything.thanx

Are you certain that your PC recognizes your tuner card without issue, and has the latest drivers for the tuner card?

were talking internt tv ,has nothing to do with tv card,hauppauge win7,trying to set up live tv,unless i m confused,tv you stream from internet,thanx
