WIN reinstalled on C -> File from D containing documents and pictures

Hello.

I am pretty desperate right now

I reinstalled the Windows by formatting C and then installing the Windows back into C (where it was installed before), and since the beggining of the week I was collecting the documents and pictures from my PC into one folder in ''D :'' partition.

After reinstalling, EVERYTHING from D is still there BUT not the folder with the documents and pictures.

What could have happened?!

Tried:
-Unhiding hidden folders.
-Searching for the files in the search box.
-Using Recuva (recovered like only 40% of the documents, that have been deleted after moving the copies to the new folder in D).

So basically, the folder in D just vanished with everything.

Any solutions?

UPDATE:

So basicly I think I have 2 WINDOWSs ony my PC.
Why?

Because when I turn on my PC I get a black screen where I have to choose between:
-WINDOWS 7
and WINDOWS 7.

If I select the first Windows 7 I get to the newly installed windows on C, with everything being there before the installation to be done (in D and E).

5 minutes ago I tried to get into the second Windows 7, and guess what happened?
It got me into MY OLD Windows, from 2 days ago, with the same bad movement of the PC.

The thing is that it looks like that the Windows files were moved from C to D, and that nothing from D is there.
So my documents and pictures.

BUT, if I try to search for that folder containing my docs and pics, I get this error:
