I don't know if this is a general problem or just on my computer.

I have XP and Win Vista Ult on a dual boot (2 Drives).

The version of Vista is a Dell OEM.

When I created a partition on the XP drive and installed Win 7 it deactivated Vista on the other drive.

Only noticed it by accident - it told me I had 3 days to activate - I've been running it activated for 9 months.

Had to dig out the Dell disk and reactivate.

Hello Pendragon, welcome to Se7en Forums!

Some people have had issues with having to re-activate Vista, after installing Windows 7. Some believe it is related to OEM (factory) installs; to my knowledge no one has put the info together for a resolution. Please be sure to keep us informed if you find an outcome to this issue.

Later  Ted
