Win7 64bit randomly crashing

Hey everyone,

I have windows 7 on my laptop for a while, it was running very well in the beginning but now once an hour or so (sometimes every 15mins, and sometimes 1:30 hours) my system reboots itself with no explained reason.

i dont get a blue screen, a screen freeze or an error note, my computer just reboots itself.

i've checked for viruses, ran system checks with Dell support, and the only reason i think could be for these crashes might be the OS

Any help would be appreciated,
Ben.

First configure your sysem control panel so the system does not auto reboot. (see pix)

Then let us know if there are true BSOD's
We really need the actual DMP file.

If you wish to have others assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder. The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Start your own thread in the "Crashes and Debugging" section of the forum and attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
* Briefly describe the problem history and circumstances in the same post. Somebody will attend to your query as soon as possible.
