Solved Win7/8 boot failed, error 0x490

Hi

My problem is, the boot is failed when:
[-] For 7: when 7 was loaded, it will making a windows logo from an abstract shape.
then it will 'blep', off, restarting, when the windows logo hadn't formed
[-] For 8: when the rou d cycle was rotating, 'blep'
Both No BSOD, making me so confused.
And once you got in desktop successfully, everything's normal
Well, it's true my laptop is old, but... I wanna know why this happen.

Some things:

the SUCCESS part is that's the log when it load successfully
the FAILED part, 'tis failed...
[-] Once, Repair Mode gave this:
A patch is preventing the system from starting
Error code: 0x490
[-] When I tried 7 safe mode:
FAILED: it 'blep' after loaded CLASSPNP.sys. But when I got into safe-mode safely,
that's also the last driver loaded, so does the problem lies after that?
[-] I don't know if there has a meaning, but some things I've done (semi-randomly) after this started:
- upgrade BIOS
- upgrade Intel's driver
- bootrec.exe fixmbr and fixboot
note that the problem happen before and after I've done this

I can't give up to install those before I know why it's impossible, since I really need to use one of them for my college assignment.

1) at first, it only has XP. but AFAIK, never has a problem with loading OS.
well, actually sometimes when it was turned on for the first time, nothing appear, not even the manufacturer logo.
but no problem loading OS once it got through.
2) then I formatted the HDD and install 8 -> normal for some days, then went endless automatic repair
well, before went endless, there are times it went to automatic repair, but then it would go to desktop
3) then I formatted the HDD, made it into 4 partitions: 1 for XP, 1 for 7 (until now)
XP has no problem loaded, but 7 problematic

btw, the error when it has 8 is about drivers

Dat unallocated... I know it exists, but dunno why or for what :shock:

btw I partitioned it when installed XP

I would start over and wipe the HD with Diskpart Clean Command since boot code might be interfering. Access DISKPART At PC Startup from Win7 disk.

Then boot the XP CD to install it first to a reasonably sized partition.

Then boot Win7 DVD to Clean Install Windows 7 to a partition you create using the rest of the disk space.

This should configure a Dual Boot and avoid the problems.

I don't have the disk I used my MSDNAA student account
Is there another way to get that diskpart?
or has it been on the ISO?

I've custom install when installed 7 in C, but actually yeah there had been XP on E

Why did you not download and burn the DVD? You obviously need a WIn7 bootable DVD or flash stick installer to reinstall or repair the OS. It's provided along with everything needed to get a perfect install in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.

yap yap I downloaded the ISO and burn it to USB using Win7 USB/DVD Download tool
hem hem so I just need to make bootable USB again and try dat step right?

What does yap yap and hem hem mean. Are these new computer acronyms or short hand of some kind?
