Windows 10 may eat you windows 7 key it did mine if using a virtual machine.
A phone call would mostly likely fix it but I am not ready for a permanent installation yet.
Here is what I did,
Installed windows 7 retail in virtual box it activated, upgrade to windows 10 and it activated.
So, I decided I wanted to try something different. I installed windows 7 change the key but this time it gave me an error code 0xc004008 when trying to activate windows 7 in a virtual machine.
I am curious to see if windows 10 will even activate on my computer from a clean install not using a virtual machine.
I think I over tested.
