So, my old pal outlook express is gone, I tried Tbird, but I can't get it to import. it asks what program to import from, not what file to import. You have to have an installed functioning OE to import from. I just have my WAB file

Started using the client in Opera, I like it, but they apparently forgot all about the whole address book concept

Any thoughts??

Outlook Express evolved into Windows Mail in Vista and Windows Live Mail in Windows 7. But it's not built in. You need to download it using the Windows Live Essentials link: Windows Live Mail . If all you want is the mail program (including contacts, calendar, and newsgroups) just check off WLM and uncheck everthing else. If you're not afraid of Beta software that page also has the next version of WLM on the right side.
