Win7 build 7082: screenshots leaked!!

The chinese site pcbeta has posted some screenshots which are believed to be from Build 7082.The build number is 6.1.7082.0.winmain_win7rc.090410-1901 which was compiled on 10 th April.Their has been news that the RC version which would be released to the OEM partners is Build 7082.

I kind of think that will 2 days later there. ""Windows 7 Virtual Partner Readiness Day: May 7, 2009" seems to be the only actual date seen at MS! And thats without specifying the RC at all. It should be interesting either way of course!

Incidentally Build will still be 7100. Just ignore anything else with the possible exception of one more legit build 7082 - but check the provenance if you must D/L it.

I'm happy with 7077 and unless RC is delayed I'm waiting on it -- no more build D/L's for me.

Aug. 1, 2009, the RC won't expire until June 1, 2010."

The above was seen on the 7 Q&A section with some indication of the availablility for MS partners pointing at the 5/9/09 date. But the MVPs answering pointed out that there has been official MS confirmation on any date to be seen quite yet.

The 6/1/2010 date being set for the RC as well as having been seen in the RC escrows floating about would suggest that as the preset date for anything seen now until 7 is out. The beta portion of 7 is already over at this point with the 7000 testing phase over.

It's getting too close anyways with that just around the corner in so many weeks. If you are signed up Technet why bother with any unsupported who knows what leak when an actual working RC will be available!
