Win7 can't see shared storage partition

Hi there
I used to have three partitions: Win7, Fedora 12 and a NTFS-Storage-Partition
Now I had to reinstall Win7, it doesn't see any files on the storage partition;
Windows shows the whole rest of the disk including the linux partition as one drive with 7gb of 80gb free, I can also open it but then there is nothing in it...
Linux is still working and everything on the storage partition is still there and accessible in linux.
any suggestions? do i have to tell windows the partitions or does it have to do a scan or something?

Click start, right click my computer and click Manage. Expand storage, click Disk Management.
Do all your partitions show and do they all have proper Drive letters?

The all show, the linux partition and its swap partition are shown as healthz but without letters and the storage partition is shown including letter.
I have to correct my initial statement: the partition showing in my computer is not a mix but only the storage partition as it used to be it just doesn't show any files

Perform a check disk on that partition, see if it helps.
Silly question: are you sure that the files are not hidden?

Well, go to your drive, hit Alt to view the menu, Tools -> Folder options -> View and click Show hidden files, folders and drives. Hit ok. That way you can see them.

Select all the folders, right click on one, select properties, uncheck Attributes: Hidden and click ok. The system will ask you if you wish to apply the changes on selected items or items with subfolders and files. Apply to all items including subfolders and files.

Cheers, does Windows automatically hide files that are written in Linux? Can I change that?
