I am a LONG time xp user who has switched my netbook over to win7. All I can say is ACK. File explorer really doesn't appear to want to show me all the files in a folder nor will it show me the extensions.

Please tell me there are hidden options to make it show me everything and stop trying to protect me from myself.

I didn't exactly use the prescribed method for installing win7 as I just cloned my netbook hd onto an ssd and then installed win7 32bit as an update. I need to move some files from the hd to the ssd and they don't even show up in explorer. Hell, these files may be in windows_old, but they're just not showing up.

Help?

Z.
