Win7 Final Updates/Patches? Master List?

Hello,

I have a Win 7 box that hasn't been updated in a while thanks to advice by Woody and others trying to avoid the telemetry/spyware. I was also trying to avoid breaking the PC or installed programs with a borked update. However, Looking at Windows update on the PC I am now seeing the Win 10 update advertised. Based on this it looks like I may not have avoided the telemetry and spyware.

So now that Win 7 is officially not supported I was wondering if there was any master list of final updates to apply (KB numbers please). Should I do this manually or just let Windows Update do it. I have done some web searching and find the following:

2020-02 Security Only Quality Update for Windows 7 for x86-based Systems (KB4537813)
2020-02 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x86-based Systems (KB4537820)

These appear to be the final updates for Win 7. Are they cumulative?

Thanks,
Steve

There is no "final" Windows 7 version, yet, as updates are still coming out (though not all of them posted on Windows Update). Even though officialy support has ended, some bugs are still being fixed and as such updates published.

Also remember that "end of support" means absolute nothing to the end user and Win7 works exactly the same as before.

The real question is, why do you want to run updates? Are you facing some specific issue?
If you've been safe from updates for quite some time, why bother right now?

Yes, I realize this. However I am not one of the ones on the "extended support" so these updates will not be available to mere mortals like myself (unless Microsoftdeems the issue to be serious enough).

Correct. However, some programs, such as Turbo Tax will no longer run under Win7. I wish this wasn't so!

The issue is that there is always a non-zero security threat which might as well be patched once and for all. It is also easier to find this stuff now than several years from now.
