Ever since I made this new system last month so I could upgrade to Win7 I've been having this issue with the computer freezing up if I leave it idle too long. It wasn't that big a deal back when it only seemed to happen if I left it up all night or when I went to work, but it seems to be getting worse.
I've looked all over the net for advice on this. Most of them say that it's an issue with the computer trying to go into sleep mode or some other power related matter. All my power settings are set to the least efficient, sleep and hibernate are completely disabled yet it still happens. I ever completely reinstalled Windows a few weeks ago and it still persists.
I'm totally stumped here. Can anyone help?
