Win7 not working with a Intel Centrino® Wireless-N 2200 (code

My laptop came pre installed with windows 8 , needless to say I stuck with it for 7 months then decided to go back to windows 7.

I cleared the HD and installed windows 7 today, however I cant get my network adapter to work so no internet.

I have tried downloading the correct drivers but its not working. When I go to device manager I can see the list of devices not working with yellow exclamation mark

Ethernet Controller
Network Controller
PCI simple Communications Controller
SM bus Controller

When I open the network controller up it has Manufacturer Unknown.

The drivers for this device are not installed (code 28)

My laptop is a Lenovo z580 Model: 2151



I appreciate any help that can get me out of this mess.

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums ... Did you try to Install the Ethernet Controller from the Lenovo Website ? ...

Once you have achieved that run Windows Updates ...

Dear sir,
What i do when i got this problem,i view specs of the model.
If this is your laptop here,then RTL8105E is your ethernet harware.You can download its drivers from realtek site.
Then if networks works you can use windows update or free software called Driver Booster and will download them automatically,(hopefully).

If that specs are not the correct you can download Everest which will show what hardware you have.

PS When i buy new laptop/desktop i always save the drivers CD which are inside!
