So uh, I bought a win7 home oem installer on amazon, and successfully installed it 2 months ago. But now, i am trying to reuse it on the same pc but diff hdd, it refuses to boot up, i already tried changing boot priorities and manual dvd boot. It still doesn't work. Is this dvd just for single use only? If so, where can i find a copy of w7 home x64? And can i use the same code for it?

Are you saying the install dvd wont boot at all? because if thats the case; it sounds like your dvd device suddenly for whatever reason may have taken a dump on ya.

Also have a pretty bad speaker setup which is a klipsch promedia 5.1 surround speaker setup with huge subwoofer and lg blu ray player/writer. Also a hp officejet pro 8600 plus wireless all in one and a logitech s7500 webcam.
You can use the dvd over and over again, as many time as you want. Test it on another pc if possible.

You don`t change boot priorities, you change the boot sequence under the boot tab, it`s not the same thing.

1) DVD drive
2) Hard Drive

When you use the 1 time boot menu key, does the dvd drive show up on the list ? What happens when you choose it ?

Yeah already changed boot sequence, that's what i meant.
And my dvd rom wasnt the problem, it shows up there, tested my norton backup disc and that booted up.
I also tried booting only from the dvd but it only shows the infinite reboot loop.

No, i dont get that "press any key to boot from dvd" all i saw was (when i tried manually booting from dvd and disabling boot from hdd) is "reboot and select proper boot device"

And addram, can i use that os you linked in a flash stick?

Greg, the dvd is in perfect condition.

I have clean installed many times before, this is the first time i have encountered this.

If flash stick or disk is burned correctly with tool then it should show up to choose either in BIOS Boot Priority order (by setting first to boot) or on the one-time BIOS Boot menu key.

Do you get a prompt to "Press any key to boot disk?" If not then check in BIOS setup for the Boot order and to see that any USB settings are enabled.
