Please open an admin command prompt and enter following command

sfc /scannow&copy "%windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log" "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"

This will run SFC and create a file of the SFC log after SFC is done to your desktop, please upload this file.

Alright, please make a system restore point before following below instructions.

I would like to try a chkdsk on your Windows partition and another SFC.
First chkdsk:

Run chkdsk
Disk Check - Windows 7 Help Forums
Use option TWO with parameter /r
Upload the chkdsk log :ar: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/96938-check-disk-chkdsk-read-event-viewer-log.html

Chkdsk with parameter /r requires the partition to be unmounted, for this a reboot is required for the Windows partition.

i cant reboot though, when i do, everything starts over. i will have to load win recovery disc, DOS, reload my registry files...

restore points go missing, i am unable to load a restore point. once i shut down, the only option is to use rescue disk, cmd, load back backup reg files.. when i boot up, system restore points are gone, and turned off.

i could just restart, use my rescue disk, use DOS prompt and do a chkdsk, then after, load my reg back and restart.. is there a way to save chkdsk results to desktop?

Do you use imaging software like Macrium Reflect? If not, I would recommend to do this.

i do have a image of my hdd... but what is the point? if it is currept, and i must do a repair install, i surely would not want to load the image back to my hdd, i would bring the problem right back.. right? i suppose in case major disasters, at least i can be back where i was...

You seem to be confusing it a bit.
If you have a backup you may be able to use it to restore prior installing those updates, then you could restore the health of the system and try installing the updates. If not, you could try a repair installation.

ya, im sorry, you lost me there.
i have an image and a clone of my HDD, they are old though, over 1 year.
regarding system restore points, right now, they are not working... i turn it on, i create one, two three, i can see them all is well... but, as soon as i shut down and restart... i am caught in the endless reboot loop... once i temporarily fix the problem by loading in reg files (thanks to christian)... i am able to enter my password, and log in... when i pull up system restore, all system restore points are gone, and system restore for drive C is turned off again.

doing the windows repair fixed my issue.. very curious as to what was the issue/what caused it.. but more glad to have this prob behind me! what a headache. thanks for all your help
