Hey guys,

I was wondering, I have win7 Prof. RC installed on my desktop PC at the moment and recently bought a broken second hand laptop with Win 7 Ultimate on it(OEM).

I was wondering, can I set up a dual boot system with the RC and OEM on my desktop.

The desktop has two HDD and would like the win7 to be installed on different hdds.

- Is this possible without experiencing any problems?
- Will this cause any problems to my hardware?

Tnx

As the Win7 RC is Time limited, I would advice you to buy a RTM.

If you are asking, can you put the OEM on your desktop from your laptop the answer

is no, the OEM is tied to the mobo on the laptop.

Ok cool, I guess I won't be doing it. I didn't pay anything extra for the OEM disc because the owner knows he can't use the disc on another PC, I got the laptop because the hard drive was faulty and a I'm able to replace it plus some new ram cards.

I was just cerious how the ultimate would perform next to my Prof. version, and aslo I would like to compare the 32bit I have know with the 64bit ultimate.

So is there no way I could do this without stepping on some toes?
