Win7 seeing CD as Blank

I burned a CD using Corel Burn.Now and am able to view the data/files on the CD on a couple computers but my Win7 Laptop (Lenovo) is reading the CD as blank. What might I be doing wrong?

Hello and welcome Jaime one thing that strikes me is perhaps the file type is not being recognized, if it was burnt with Corel on the other machine maybe you need Corel on the laptop.

I am no expert but what I would be looking at.

How sure are you that the optical drive in question is not faulty?

In case you are absolutely sure that the optical drive is not faulty, use a reputed brand CD-RW to burn the same data and try to read it on the optical drive for it can be a media-optical drive compatibility issue.
