I have a W7 pro PC acting as a file server on my LAN. If it ever reboots because of updates it is not seen on the network.
I have to RD into it, open explorer, view the network and then other PCs on the LAN can see it.
Actually....all that may not be necessary. Maybe simply RD'ng into and logging in is what makes it visible. Probably the case.
How do I configure it so I don't have to do this. Can I map a drive on the server and have it reconnect at logon? Seems a dirty way to do it.
Thoughts?
