One of the new software i wana install requires .Net Framework 4.0 and hence i was wondering what version of .Net Framework does win7 ultimate ships with?
Also, how can i check which version i am having by default ?
Net Framework 4.0 comes in in the third or fourth round of Updates after installing Win7 with SP1, and is followed in the next round by any needed Security patches.
Windows Update scans your system to see what's needed. It has never been better.
Thx guyz for all your replies,
Now as i am downloading offline package that is compatible with 32/64bits... i am having two versions here, is it all okay if whichever version i use as the software that require it, also has link to download 4.0 and it points to the 48Mb version.
Go with option 2, the client profile one.
Either version will work fine, actually, but the first one includes developer stuff you won't need unless you plan to write your own .NET code and compile it...
