WIN7 tips space, but the actual use only about 40%?

I use WIN7 64 bit operating system after a period of time, suggesting that free space is only 10% per cent, but check the system files and other files take up only 30% of the primary partition. Check with the antivirus software, no virus. While cleaning up temporary files. The problem is still the same. This is why?

If you still have any space issues you might try downloading/running: WinDirStar. It shows the size, type and arrangement of all files on your system. It's very simple to use, very small in size and most importantly shows a very easy to understand visual representation of the files - so you can see what is taking up the most space.

Also check you swap file size and adjust if it is more then 1.5 times on installed memory.
