Hey all,
Now before you ask, I need Windows 98SE running because it is connected to a CNC-Router that only supports Windows98SE or earlier.
I have a laptop that is running Win7 Ultimate x64 and that is connected to the company domain via wireless. Then I'm connected to the Win98SE computer via a direct network cable. I've enabled internet connection sharing on the laptop and there is a network connection established between the 2 computers because I have file-sharing.
However when I open IE6 (lol) on the Win98 computer in the bottom-right corner the Internet symbol is displayed, however I cannot display any webpage... I just get the Cannot find server or DNS Error page.
Both PC's are obtaining IP addresses automatically. In the network connections window, the connection to the Win98 PC has Unindentified network as its status.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
