Solved Win7 x86 on Virtual PC SP1 Error - TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE(0x800b0100)

I'm getting the error: TRUST_E_NOSIGNATURE(0x800b0100).

I've ran the readiness tool and still no luck. Below is the CheckSUR.log file.

I found that here many experts are able to provide fix based on below log file, I really appreciate your help.

sfc /scannow -->Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

Windows Update Error Codes --> 800b0100

Find attached CBS log folder.

I've uploaded a file - moraa.zip - to my SkyDrive at https://skydrive.live.com/#cid=936736BB8FCEB92F&id=936736BB8FCEB92F%21526
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder moraa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be two folders inside it (Manifests, and Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

And the content of the manifests folder (.manifest files) into this folder:

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

I think I was going word-blind towards the end of the last set, and misread a couple.

Same procedure - the file this time is morac.zip and it only contains a Manifests folder, since there's no Packages to replace this time.

I'd try installing SP1 offline, now - download it from here... Download Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) from Official Microsoft Download Center

It should clear the SD folder anyhow as it installs.

Hi Noel,

SP1 was already installed successfully with last fix you had provided but two critical updates were failing with error you have mentioned in SoftwareDistribution folder.

I deleted all content from SoftwareDistribution folder and rechecked for updates then I was able to install those updates too.
