Is this on a Desktop Monitor or Laptop ? If this is a desktop Monitor take a look at the buttons on the monitor itself . If possible can we get a screenshot of what you're talking about ? Press the key PrntScrn (Fn+PrntScrn if its on a laptop) .
I have two monitors on 1920x1080 resolution, GTX680 gpu (drivers up to date). Problem occurs when I'm sitting in Ableton Live and external small windows are sometimes appearing (VSTs) and they're placed halfway outside the monitor and I have to use the Windows Resolution Settings and place the second (extended desktop) monitor on top of the one with the external window, so that i can reach the bar that i have to hold to drag the window inside the screen area... This is an annoying operation, because it happens all the time.
So is it possible to do some sort of hack to prevent the windows from crossing the line out of the monitorarea? (outside the 1920x1080 pixels. Wierd post, ik0w...)
If that program has it`s own icon, you could always have it open fullscreen.
Right click on the icon, choose propertites and set run to maximized. If that works, you can always make it whatever size you want while you`re using it.
