window startup repair problem

i have window star up repair prb .after i changing the processor number and maximum memory setting at system configuration.it keep pop out when i start my laptop,i cant access the window now,and i cant press the F8 oso,it hv nothing when i press it.can some 1 help me?

Hello jo,

If you have the installation CD, you can attempt to access it from there: Start your computer from a Windows 7 installation disc or USB flash drive

Can you press Delete or another key instead of F8 to get into the BIOS? See this, Option 2: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/668-system-recovery-options.html

Is there a way to reset you BIOS with the push of a button (CMOS)? If not, look up ways to reset the BIOS by removing all power and its battery.

Boot into the Recovery Options Dusty links above, from Win7 DVD or System Repair Disk
if it isn't available on F8 Advanced Boot Option.

Run Startup Repair repeatedly. It should automate System Restore but if not run it manually from Options list.
