I have a PC from a friend that updated to Windows 10 about 3 weeks ago. He had no idea it upgraded. The PC will not boot since the upgrade. It should not have been upgraded. I attached the drive to another PC and can see a folder Windows.old. I would assume since it cannot boot, I only have one option of a clean install of Windows 7. Before I do this I wanted to check here and see if I have any options other than clean install. Don't think I do but it doesn't hurt to ask.
When it attempts to boot I get the BOOT MANAGER window with a code of 0xc00000e9. I have checked the hard drive with Speccy on another PC and it shows good.
