hey guys I just got a notify from my updates I'm running W7 hp and it says I'm ready for the upgrade to W10 seem how its a free upgrade whats the security like is it better then W7 because I didn't like W8 and I started using Ubuntu for security due to the fact I do my banking from home. Just wanted to kow how the security was before I upgraded in July to W10

About security, there are some better things so far, but I don't see substantial improvements, so I wouldn't "upgrade" just for the sake of those features. The best for me seems to be the built-in two-factor authentication. A properly configured system together with safe usage is most often enough to avoid most problems (but rarely practiced, as the default Windows settings are a disaster waiting to happen, security-wise).
Consider other factors instead of wheater to go or not for Win10, in my opinion.

Windows Defender since Win8 IS MSE, just renamed and bundled with the OS. It behaves exactly the same as the external thing in Win7 and before.
