I am having BSODs that usually occur about once a day, but can take up to 2 days before one happens. I leave my computer on almost around the clock.

IT is a new computer, but I wasn't having problems until in installed VMware (which I've since uninstalled)

I've attached the zip

thank you for all your help

I've also used the windows memtest to checker for memory problems, used this site's preferred gfx test and gfx memory test and all showed up ok.

I also ran check disk, no errors.

Hello Gilchrest2 and welcome to the Forums,

You shouldn't leave your machine up and running for 24/7. When you restart it Windows fixes errors and problems that might have occurred during your session. I advice you to restart your machine at least once every 24 hours.

----------

Please fill in your system specs by following this tutorial.

----------

Please reduce the items that run at start up. You basically only need your anti virus to run at start up, all other programs are not necessary and can be removed from the start up list.
Check this tutorial to see how to add or remove start up items.

----------

Please uninstall your current AV as it might be contributing to your problems.
First remove it via the Control Panel and then please use the specialized removal utility from this list.

----------

Please download Microsoft Security Essentials from here;

  1. Download the file and save it to your desktop.
  2. Double click the file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Restart your machine after installing MSE and please run a full scan and report back anything found.

----------

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here or here.

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Please uncheck the Enable free trail checkbox.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Full Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish, so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy & Paste the entire report between

tags in your next reply.
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process, if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

    • Graphics Driver
    • HD Audio Driver

Hello Gilchrest2,

Hmm, both the BETA and the 320.49 are buggy and often cause the issues that you have.
Your logs and dump files don't show any other finite cause of your problems.

----------

We could try this to confirm the GPU issues;

Please reinstall the 320.49 update you had and do the following;
Please preform the following hardware test as well;

Stress test the graphics card using Furmark GPU Stress Test.
   Information
During the test please check the screen for artifacts.
The purpose of this test is to make your machine crash and create dump files so that we can pinpoint the cause of your problem.
   Tip
Please run Furmark once when your machine has just started, and once again when your machine has been active for several hours.

----------

Please download Speccy.

  1. Download and install Speccy.
  2. Open Speccy. Click on the Summary tab.
  3. Click on File and then on Save Snapshot.
  4. Set the save location as your desktop and upload the file by following this tutorial.

Good luck and keep us posted,
Nommy
