Look behind you...
Hey,A friend told me running Windows 7 on the 64 bit edition, could be dangerous to my CPU because it "run the CPU" up to 100%.
I don't want to return to 32 bit,because it's slower,my PC works better on 64 bit,games,programs etc.
So is it dangerous? my specs:
AMD ATHLON 64X2 DUAL CORE 4400+
2GB RAM DDR2
ATI RADEON HD2400 PRO
Thanks!

Complete and utter baloney! If you have Cool'n'Quiet enabled (which it should be by default), you will find that your CPU will alter its frequency (and power consumption) dynamically according to the load on it at any given point in time. Mine tends to run at ~1GHz even though it is rated at 3GHz. Very rarely does it run at full speed.

geniulmalefic, your friend is full of malarky! Most of the users here are running Windows 7 64bit and that problem rarely happens on its own.. most likely it is a running process.. The only issue that I can see is you only have 2gb of RAM... I would look into adding another 2gb ... ;)
