Windows 7 64bit external speker issue on Alienware

Greetings. It was a royal pain to get the sound card working on my alienware (model Aurora M9700) but i eventually found the right drivers on the alienware website. The speakers on my laptop work just fine but when plugging in my cambridge soundworks speakers+woofer the sound plays strangely and very quietly out of them, and worked perfectly fine earlier today when running vista.

If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated.

I called alienware tec support and this is what they gave me. You goto alienware.com and choose support then faq/knowledge base and search keyword "6051". This should give you the correct windows 7 drivers.

i got the sound to work successfully on the laptop speakers anyways thanks to this guy for anyone having an issue with their alienware aurora m9700 sound card.
