OK, I found the problem........the default monitor was my TV but I did not have it turned on and never thought about doing so, so all I could see was the secondary screen and the mouse pointer when i happened to drag it to my screen :o

Oh well...up and running now, thanks for the help and hopefully the OP can get his/her problem fixed up too...

For some reason it windows 7, 32 or 64 bit wont work on my 1tb, but it worked when I upgraded Vista on my 80 gig HD.

Is the OP still having issues?

For me I had the same problem, but my issue was booting on battery power. I finally found out that with AC power, everything started fine, but on battery no dice.

Bad mobo. Replaced it.
