Try it and see, your cpu is most likely a bottleneck for that gpu.

I'm having the same problem. It ran beautifully on Vista and Win XP. Looking for suggestions to try....have reinstalled...running Audigy 2 sound card.....will have Audigy 4 next week...maybe it is the sound card?
Running dual nVidia video so don't think the problem is there.

Use driver sweeper and update your drivers - try disabling SLI if you have problems - nvidia chipsets also have a tendency to be unstable.

This Computer building crap started out years ago as a simple hobby..that has now gotten completely out of hand !!
(It does come in handy though, when everyone in the family wants their own computer)

To the contrary, I think although his CPU isn't some soaped up power house. It's good enough for crysis as this game is more GPU dependant. I think the problem might be with the patches not getting along well with 7. Other than that, I heard running 64-bit might also be quite a problem for gaming.
