We have just gotten a batch of laptops with Windows 7 on them and are in the process of setting them up for deployment. One problem I have seen is that most of our XP machines are placed into printer groups in Active Directory. When a user logs in the printer is already installed.

On the Windows 7 PCs when a user logs in the are first prompted to download the driver then has to provide admin credentials. I need to find a way around this just like XP.

Any thoughts?
