Hi,
I'm currently running Windows XP and it doesn't have any problem with the network(realtek Lan). I never ever install Driver for Realtek Lan, I only install Realtek Audio driver which using XP. But Win7 seems to install Lan driver by itself. And when I try to access my network in Win7, things hangup, only way is to hard reset(restart). I tried to uninstall that driver also but then I could not access my network. I also tried latest driver for the same, but when installing it hang. Can anybody tell me how to overcome this problem. By the way I have Win7 Enterprice(30 Days trial).

This did not happened on win7 RC. I have same problem with windows 7 RTM. When you update LAN from windows update there is a driver problem. My MOBO is Gigabyte and I dload the REALTEK LAN driver there and it works.

Hi vCracker, can you update your system specs in your userCP so we know the rest of the hardware you are using. Also can you check the Event Viewer and see if there are any events listed in there that we can track down to causing the hang.

This is the only driver that works well on my 7 Ultimate install.
Driver: 7.2.1127.2008
Date: 2/26/2008

If I install the update from windows update I lose all connection -it seems it installs a 2007 version when I check it. And if I install the latest from realtek (9/22) it seems to die here there and my event logs show that it has lost connection.
If you want to try the above driver I'm using you can grab it here (its got a 5/14/2009 date)
