Here's an updated link: Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

A problem with Clean Reinstalling on Samsung is that gesture features on an Elan Touchpad may not work correctly even with the download from the Samsung drivers webpage for your model. Tech Support claims that there is a better download stored on the Recovery partition (which another user had deleted) but I've never found it. And the advanced webcam features are not available on some Samsung's after clean reinstall although the cam still works.

So you can try the Clean Reinstall but you may decide to instead Recover to factory condition using the DVD's you should make now. Be sure to use the DVD method for backing up Recovery as external storage will not boot if the tiny Recov partiton on HD is damaged, while the DVD's will boot and even reinstall that partition.

I would not count at all on the Samsung tech support parody troupe. See the epic NicoleUK help thread which still remains one of the top Samsung google search results: http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/200607-new-laptop-changing-partition-disks-4.html
