Simple fix to this problem, Please follow the steps below.

You can start by going into your start menu, Right click Computer and click properties which is located in the right panel. Or you can navigate to Control Panel\System and Security\System. Once you are there click Advanced System Security which is located on the left panel. Stay in that same tab, and below you will see Startup and Recovery You can change your default operating system, Also make sure Time to display list of operating systems: is checked. You can also edit how long you would want the operating system display to show for during the startup.

If you have any other questions or issues, Please reply so I can assist you further if needed.

Boot into Win7 DVD repair console, click through to Recovery Tools list to run Startup Repair up to 3 separate times with reboots to start Win7.

Install EasyBCD 2.0 beta after doing quick registration to use beta.

On Add/Remove tab, add XP by name, accept prompt for boot files to be added, it will autocomplete.

Highlight new XP listing and select Save.
